POIM by ICA™ – Turning integration into a repeatable system

The POIM Method™ (Path Oriented Integration Method & Management) is a scientifically grounded framework for the systemic integration of international professionals.
It combines organizational development, process clarity, inclusion, and sustainability – structured in four steps:
Open – Organize – Integrate – Maintain.

POIM™ builds on classical approaches from integration and organizational research and takes them further:
Integration is not understood as an exception, but as a repeatable, systemic process that relieves emloyers, creates routines,
and embeds diversity for the long term – practical, straightforward and reliable.

With the FachkräftePfad Bremen, we are implementing the POIM Method in practice for the first time:
A modular pathway that connects employer, authorities, recruiters, and professionals step by step – from initial openness to long-term regional commitment.

POIM™ can be flexibly integrated into existing structures – for example as an overarching framework for
SME onboarding processes, state and municipal programs, funding initiatives (ERDF, ESF, DAAD, Erasmus+), CSR strategies,
or diversity and workplace health promotion (BGM/BGF) measures.
