COME by ICA™ – The personal side of integration

COME (Culture Oriented Migration Empowerment) is a scientifically based learning model for the cultural integration of international talent.
It combines intercultural competence, self-reflection, confidence and belonging – structured in four phases:
Understand – Reflect – Apply – Belong.

COME builds on classic integration approaches and develops them further:
Integration is not understood as mere adaptation, but as a holistic, active process that strengthens self-efficacy and promotes
cultural agency – digitally, practically and empoweringly.

With CORE (Cultural Onboarding Resources & Experience), we are implementing the COME method in a digital learning environment:
Modular learning units, reflection tools, everyday training and community offerings prepare international students and professionals
specifically for studying, working and living in Germany.

CORE can be flexibly integrated into existing programmes – for example as a complementary component to
BAMF integration courses, Erasmus+ / DAAD projects, IQ networks, SME onboarding processes,
Triple Win or GIZ preparation courses, CSR and diversity initiatives.
