COME by ICA™ – The method behind our concept
The COME Method™ (Culture Oriented Migration Empowerment) is a scientifically grounded learning model for the cultural integration of international talents.
It combines intercultural competence, self-reflection, practical confidence, and a sense of belonging – structured into four phases:
Understand – Reflect – Apply – Belong.
COME™ builds on traditional integration approaches and takes them further:
Integration is not seen as mere adaptation, but as a holistic and active process that strengthens self-efficacy and cultural agency – digital, practical, and empowering.
With CORE™ (Cultural Onboarding Resources & Experience), we implement the COME Method™ in a digital learning environment:
Modular learning units, reflection tools, everyday training, and community features prepare international students and professionals
specifically for studying, working, and living in Germany.
CORE™ can be flexibly integrated into existing programs – for example, as a complementary component to
BAMF integration courses, Erasmus+ / DAAD projects, IQ networks, SME onboarding processes,
Triple Win or GIZ preparation courses, CSR and diversity initiatives
The training

You’ll begin with our structured online training “The Hidden Rules of German Culture”. It gives you insights into how Germany works – culturally, socially and in everyday life.

To build a solid cultural foundation – compact, practical and easy to understand.

Your reflection
What you’ll experience:
In chapters like Reflect, Listen and Think, you’ll take an active role: You’ll question your own expectations and experiences and prepare for real-life challenges. At the end, a short test awaits you – for self-reflection, not evaluation.
Goal:
To develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your cultural responses.
What to expect:
- Storytelling

- Your personal “Reality Check” at the end

Apply your knowledge
What you’ll experience:
Now it’s time for real-life application: In the various portals (e.g. career, housing, everyday life, authorities, healthcare), you’ll find system knowledge, links, practical tools and step-by-step guides. Everything you need for life in Germany – in one place.
Goal:
To build practical competence – for work, studies and daily life.
What to expect:
- Hard facts & checklists
- Concrete real-life examples
- Cross-platform tools for self-application

What you’ll experience:
