CSR matters.
A few years ago, I wrote my Master’s thesis on Corporate Social Responsibility.
Back then, I asked: Is CSR just greenwashing or is there a genuine core behind it?
My conclusion was sobering: CSR wasn’t new, but often served mainly as a marketing tool.
That’s why the last meeting felt so uplifting.
I had the honor of serving on the jury for the VDMA India CSR Awards, evaluating 11 companies like WIKA Gruppe Siemens Bosch Rexroth India and many more all alongside an inspiring panel.
And I was deeply impressed by what I saw:
👉🏼Empowering women in technical professions
👉🏼Building schools in underserved areas
👉🏼Creating sustainable job opportunities for people with disabilities
These projects prove that CSR can be so much more than a buzzword it can create lasting change.
I’m not Siemens. I’m not Bosch.
But even with my business, I can make a difference.
Through mentoring programs and by looking for ways to do more.
This jury experience changed something in me.
Above all it reminded me how privileged I am growing up as a woman in a country where access to education was never questioned.
And it showed me this:
I can do more.
We all can do more.
Protecting what exists and improving what should be is our shared responsibility.
Not Bosch or Siemens – Still Responsible
